Unworthy

Waves of anguish do sweep over

Pangs of guilt wring my soul

Your piercing stare I try to avoid

Into my heart it seems to bore a hole.

My actions do burn your heart you say,

But would they not burn my own

'Coz your heart has stolen mine my dear,

A crime I shall not condone.

Your solemn vows my heart can hear,

Your unspoken words my mind can read

But unworthy of your love am I,

Listen to me....as my heart does plead.

Waste not your efforts on impressing me

All that u desire may just be around

A glance around and an open heart....

In love your heart will be bound.

While on my way I go .....

With a smile on the lips to behold

Filling all hearts with hope and love

On the course of the future unforetold.

If in this lifetime, I won’t get to have you,I'll make sure that if I meet you in my next lifeI won’t have to think twice on saying that "I waited a lifetime to say I love you..."
